Santa Cruz Beach Mini Session!

Thank you so much for booking a Santa Cruz beach mini with me! Seriously so stoked to hang with you guys by the coast. These sessions are meant to feel easy, laid back, and more like a little beach date than a super posed photoshoot. We’ll be shooting at Hole in the Wall Beach in Santa Cruz, and there’s a short/easy walk down to the sand, so just make sure to give yourself a little extra time before your session starts. Minis move pretty fast, but don’t stress about “what to do” or how to pose. I’ll guide you the whole time and keep things feeling natural so nothing feels stiff or awkward!


Please give yourself 10-12 minutes before your session to make your way from the parking lot to the beach!

For outfits, wear something that feels like you. Neutral, earthy, coastal tones always photograph really well with my editing style and the beach scenery. Try to avoid super bright neon colors, large logos, or anything you feel uncomfortable in. Wind, sand, messy hair, barefoot walking, running around - all of that is part of the vibe. These sessions are less about perfect posing and more about capturing the two of you actually interacting together in a real way. Just show up ready to have fun and trust the process a little!


From the parking lot (yellow), you'll follow the paved path! Then you'll cross the inactive railroad tracks, follow the greenery to the right side of the beach, and make your way down the hill!
